Dropshipping and Fulfilment Services in the UK
Our UK dropshipping and fulfilment service takes an order from the moment it is placed to the moment it lands with your customer. Order processing, packing and shipping all happen from our Leicester site through a network of trusted shipping partners, and the parcel arrives under your brand, not ours.
What separates this from a standard fulfilment arrangement is that we made the product. Most brands produce in one place and fulfil in another, which means finished stock has to be shipped to a fulfilment centre before a single unit can be sold. We remove that step entirely. Garments come off our own line, into holding, and out to your customers from the same building.
Minimums depend on the arrangement and are confirmed when we quote.
What Our Fulfilment Service Covers
Order Processing
Orders come through and get picked, checked and prepared for dispatch. The part that matters here is what happens when something is not straightforward: a size that has just run out, a customer who orders twice in a day, an address that will not validate. Those are the cases that make or break a fulfilment relationship, and they are handled by people who can see the stock.
Branded Packing
Your customer opens a parcel from you. Packing is presented to your specification, and because we run a printed media service on the same site, custom packaging, labels, swing tags and stickers can be produced here as well and used on the parcels going out.
Shipping
Dispatch through a network of established shipping partners, domestically and further afield. Service level is agreed with you: some brands want the cheapest reliable option, some want next day on everything, and most want a sensible split depending on what the customer paid for.
Dropshipping Without Holding Stock
Dropshipping in its purest form means you never touch inventory. An order lands on your site, it comes to us, we produce or pick it and send it out under your name. You carry no stock, no storage cost and no risk on a colourway that turns out not to sell.
Where that model works best is with Print On Demand®, which carries no minimum order and produces units as they are ordered. A wide range with a lot of variants, a long tail of designs, or a new brand testing what sells before committing money to stock are all much easier to run this way than by buying inventory up front.
Fulfilment From Stock You Hold With Us
The alternative is producing a run, holding it and shipping from it. That gives you faster dispatch and a better unit cost, at the price of having cash sitting in inventory. Our stock inventory management service handles the holding side, with live stock visibility, forecasting from your sales history and allocation across your channels.
Plenty of brands run both at once, which is usually the sensible answer. Core lines that sell predictably are held and shipped from stock. Seasonal pieces, collaborations and the long tail are produced on demand. You are not obliged to pick one model for everything.
Why a Producer Beats a Fulfilment Centre
A dedicated fulfilment centre is good at moving boxes. It cannot make you more product. When a line sells out in the middle of a campaign, a 3PL can only tell you that you are out; the reorder goes back to your manufacturer, who then has to ship it in, and the gap is measured in weeks.
Here the reorder does not leave the building. Standard production turnaround is 5 to 10 working days from approval of artwork and payment, and there is no transfer stage in front of it. If a line is running hot we can see it and we can print more of it, which is a materially different conversation to the one you have with a warehouse.
Getting Set Up
Tell us what you sell, roughly what your order volume looks like, whether you want to hold stock or produce on demand, and how you want parcels to arrive at your customers. We will talk through which model suits the way you actually trade, and be honest if the answer is a mix.
If we are already producing your garments, setup is short, because the goods are here. If you are moving to us from elsewhere, we will need to know the volumes, the number of SKUs and the condition the stock is in.
Fulfilment for Retail as Well as Direct-to-Consumer
Selling direct and supplying accounts pull in different directions. One wants singles going out constantly, the other wants bulk arriving on a date, packed to a buyer’s specification. We handle both, so you are not splitting stock between two suppliers and reconciling the difference. Bulk into accounts runs through retail supply and own-brand production, finished and packed to the requirement, with the garment finishing line doing the pressing, folding, tagging, labelling and bagging on the same site.
Who Uses Our Dropshipping and Fulfilment
Clothing brands selling online who would rather not run a warehouse. New brands testing designs before committing money to stock. Bands and promoters selling merch between tour dates, alongside our band and tour merch printing. Charities and campaign groups running apparel with unpredictable demand. And established brands who are tired of the gap between selling out and restocking.
Dropshipping and Fulfilment FAQs
Dropshipping means you hold no stock at all: an order comes in, we produce or pick it and send it out under your brand. Fulfilment means you hold stock with us and we ship from it. Most brands end up running a mix, with core lines held and the long tail produced on demand.
As you. Packing is presented to your specification, and because we print swing tags, labels, stickers and custom packaging on the same site, those can be produced here and used on the parcels going out.
No. Print On Demand® carries no minimum order and produces units as they are ordered, so you can sell a full range without buying inventory. If you would rather hold stock for faster dispatch and a better unit cost, our stock inventory management service covers that side.
We reprint it. Standard production turnaround is 5 to 10 working days from approval of artwork and payment, and because production and fulfilment are in the same building there is no shipping leg in front of that. A fulfilment centre can only tell you that you are out of stock.
We dispatch from Leicester through a network of established shipping partners, domestically and further afield. Service levels are agreed with you, and most brands end up with a split depending on what the customer has paid for.
Minimums depend on the arrangement and are confirmed when we quote. There is no standard package, because a brand shipping a handful of orders a week and one shipping hundreds a day need different setups.
Yes. Bulk into retail accounts runs through our retail supply service, finished and packed to the buyer specification, from the same stock. You are not splitting inventory across two suppliers.
Tell us the volumes, the number of SKUs and the condition the stock is in and we will confirm what we can take and how quickly. If we are already producing your garments, there is nothing to move.
